Gender and Sexual Identity

Many of us seek happiness and wholeness by connecting with others. Our gender and sexual identity can play a prominent role when we are trying to have an intimate personal connection that is satisfying and fulfilling. We often think that we are incomplete if we do not have others to share our life with.

There seems to be a lot of attention about whether we are male or female and whether the genitals we are born with correspond with our gender and sexual identity. This is the Personal View where we often believe our identity is based on our gender and sexuality. 

In the Spiritual View the issue is not about gender and sexuality, but rather the issue is what brings wholeness and fulfillment? The answer is spiritual love, which is non-personal, non-conditional goodwill.

Being here for this spiritual quality of goodwill enables us to be loving with anyone, free from any concern about our gender or sexuality. Every moment we express the Spiritual quality of love we are complete and whole, and assured of our identity.
